New online booking system
Great news! Our new online booking system is now live making it much easier for you to do things like make multiple bookings at the same time, enrol online for swimming lessons and apply for a TLC card to get useful leisure offers and discounts.
All Telford & Wrekin Council Leisure facilities will use the new system for bookings along with Telford Town Park (Adventure Golf, Disc Golf and High Ropes) and the leisure facilities at Hadley Learning Community.
Here's some things you need to know before you get started with our new booking system.
Creating an account
All customers will need to register their email address and set up and account.
You can do this on our new booking page.
To create an account please select forgot my password and type in your email address.
If your email address exists in our records, you will receive an email with instructions for resetting your password.
Please note: if we don’t have your most up to date email registered you will need to contact your nearest centre and they will update this for you.

Booking online
Once you’ve set up your new account, you can book all of your sessions and activities online.
Here's how to book a session:
- log into your new account
- select the centre you are looking to visit
- select the activity would you like to take part in and when would you like to visit
- you should see on the screen which classes are available to book
- find the one which suits you and hit book now.
Please note: if you're a member and can see a price next to the session you probably aren't logged in.

We know you're likely to have some questions so we have tried to answer as many of these as we can, however please get in touch if you need any support in getting started, email us at leisure@telford.gov.uk.
Will I notice any changes?
We certainly hope so, the new system will bring a number of benefits some will be available from launch, others such as a dedicated app will follow.
Unlike our previous system, all users wanting to book online will need to register/create their account.
Please note: existing customers should look for the section "Do you already have an account?", click on the login link and on the following screen click the "Forgot your password?" link. This will then link to your existing membership/TLC card.
Do I have to book online?
No, but most people find it to be the quickest and most convenient way to book 24/7 and to guarantee a booking. You can still book over the phone or in person.
Do I need to book for swimming?
No, we do not take bookings for swimming sessions, simply pay on arrival.
Will I still be able to see information on your website without registering for an account?
Yes, all of our timetables and information will be accessible to view on line without registering.
Do I need a new membership card?
No, existing TLC cards and numbers will automatically transfer to the new system. Remember for online booking you need register your account.
Do I need to amend my direct debit?
No, all direct debits will continue form your normal collection date. All direct debits after 10th May will be administered in house by Telford & Wrekin Council, you do not need to take any action.
If I have an issue with my direct debit, who do I contact?
Please contact us by emailing leisure@telford.gov.uk.
Will my personal details be safe, how will they be used?
Yes the new system will store them in the same way as the existing system
Do I need to pay when I book, will I still get my TLC discount?
Payment upon booking is still required, all TLC discounts will be applied automatically.
I would like to register for a TLC card how do I do this?
Great news. Our new system means that anyone looking to register for a TLC card will be able to do this online making it quicker and easier to get discounts on our leisure activities.

Please note: once you have selected your preferred leisure centre/leisure site you will be presented with membership options.
How will I access the Swim 4 Life or Skate 4 Life Home Portal to check on my child’s progress?
During the changeover, we will be transferring all existing customers across to our new home portal. Once the portal is ready, we will send you the details by email of how to register for the new home portal.
Will I be able to sign up for swimming lessons online?
Yes, good news one of the benefits of the new system is that you will be able to sign up for swimming lessons online.
My children already attend swimming lessons can I make changes and payments online?
Yes, good news you will be able to make quarterly payments online. In addition, when you are notified that your child is ready to move class you will be able to see class availability and select your preferred option.
My children already attend ice skating lessons can I make changes and payments online?
Yes, good news you will be able to make quarterly payments online. In addition, when you are notified that your child is ready to move class you will be able to see class availability and select your preferred option.
How can I make changes to my membership?
To make changes to your membership please contact us by emailing lesiure@telford.gov.uk.
Will I be notified if bookings are cancelled for any reason?
Yes, we will notify all customers by phone if bookings are cancelled.
Can I book more than one activity at a time?
Yes, another benefit of the new system is that you will be able to make multiple bookings across multiple sites at a time and pay in one transaction.
How far ahead can I book activities?
We will continue to offer bookings 7 days in advance for activities other than fitness classes. Fitness class bookings can be made up to 3 days in advance.
Do I need to cancel bookings if I can no longer attend?
Yes, you should cancel online or by contacting the centre directly. A number of activities are very popular and this will free up spaces that can be offered to other users.
If I cancel online, will I get a refund?
Our normal 24h cancellation notice period will apply. If you cancel, giving a minimum of 24hours notice you will entitled to a refund. Cancellations requiring a refund will need to be made by contacting the centre. Aspirations members can still cancel spaces on fitness classes online.
Will there be a waiting list facility for fitness classes in case of cancellations?
Yes, if there are no available slots, you can add yourself to a waiting list. If a space becomes available, you will be notified by email. Please note that spaces will be allocated on a first come first served basis.
Will there be a smartphone App?
Yes. Our new leisure-booking app will be launched as part of phase 2. Watch this space for more information.
Can I book an 18 hole round of golf?
The majority of our users play 9 holes. We ask that existing members book 18 holes as two separate 9 holes (Wrekin – 1st nine and Telford 2nd nine, allow for approximately two hours for the first nine). If you are a pay as you go customer, please contact the centre to make a booking for 18 holes.
I am trying to book in for an activity/class and the system is trying to charge me an incorrect amount?
Are you logged in? The system will not know that you have a membership/TLC card unless you are logged into your account and will charge you the non-resident rate for the activity. To discuss any issues please contact us by emailing lesiure@telford.gov.uk.
